Learn About the Electrak Linear Actuator

The Electrak linear actuator is a new superior performance electric linear actuator platform with onboard electronics that can eliminate the need for standalone controls. The Thomson Electrak HD offers 50% higher power and 60% longer stroke than previous designs. This enables it to tackle applications outside the range of other electric linear actuators. The Electrak HD also meets the most extreme OEM component environmental acceptance tests including IP69K.

Every Electrak HD actuator has an Electrak Modular Control System (EMCS) built into it. The EMCS is the culmination of decades of global design and application engineering in some of the toughest environments.

The optional built in J1939 CAN bus allows communication with the Electrak actuator over a simple two-wire network. The CAN Bus controls provide better controllability, improved safety, shorter design cycles & installation time which ultimately reduces costs.
